Title: Ess Blocks

Summary: This digital file documents the Ess Blocks. It comprises 9 scanned photographs taken with a Pinhole Camera (Format Instant Film) by H and the scanned hand-written notes documenting their naming conducted on the occasion of the Smutt-Slab-Con-Flab. The Ess Blocks are neither exactly images nor objects. They would neither be found in the house nor around it, but rather they make concrete certain elemental structures pertaining to it.

Technical Detail: The Ess Blocks are constituted of white Plaster of Paris, into the rear of each is a metal pin for hanging. The dimensions of each are 13 inches by 18 inches by 1 inch. The construction of these occurred in the winter of 2009 under the instruction of H. The named Ess Blocks are filed alphabetically.
